These teams are ready to go!!!!
1st stop... Sikeston, Missouri... throw me a roll baby!
Janna and her Daddy, Chaston, our intermediate coach!
The Asher family waiting patiently for some food!
Feed me baby!
Menu said, "no sharing", but they were kind enough to let some of us share the bountiful portions. Way too much food for one human to consume!
Cambria was getting ready to catch her a roll!
Seth trying a new look!
Guy trying it too... this would definitely get some looks at the quiz!
There is a lot of memorized Word in this room! The orientation started off by Bro. Reever asking for everyone to stand and give thanks to God for all He was doing in this quiz season. The crowd worshipped, clapped and rejoiced for several minutes... it just kept building, and you could feel the power of God so strong. I thought it ironic how sometimes in a church service we are asked to praise God for something and it might last several seconds, but here was young people who had so much Word in them... families that had been surrounding themselves with Word that the praise could not stop after just several seconds... it kept building and getting stronger! We arrived safely in St. Louis today with lots of excitement ahead! Sunday will be a full day of quizzing!!!
We will have our first quiz for the intermediate team (Alex, Cambria and Cailey) after 2:45pm. They are the 15th quiz of the day and are quizzing against North Dakota 1.
Our experienced team, Tennessee 2 (Guy and Seth), will be quizzing after 2:45pm against the winning team from the quiz of Missouri 1 and Texaco 1. We are the 25th quiz of the day!
After a half way stop at Lamberts (Home of the Throwed Rolls), quiz orientation and a 10pm meal at Steak and Shake with lots of friends from other quiz teams.... we are exhausted and ready for rest!!!
Thank God for a safe day of travels and a wonderful bed to sleep in!
