Going up to high places!

We started the day by watching Finley... they lost to a Texas team but did great!
Heading to downtown St. Louis... had to take this crew on the Metro!

Sis. Asher was about to strangle me for this wild experience... Her expression is mixed with fear and shock!

Beautiful!

The dynamic duo!

What a crew!!!!!
What a day in downtown Louie!
We rode the metrolink... an experience within itself... have a video to post about that if it will download!

The quizzers went up to the top of the arch and soaked in the view from on high.... some with fear and trembling! It was a hot day but we sweated thru it and got back in time to cool off and get ready for the Prayer and Share service.
This is the highlight of the week for me... 35 last year quizzers shared their Bible Quiz stories. Three quizzers mentioned coming from broken homes (a couple with parents getting divorced this year!). Two mentioned being raised by a single parent who also happened to be their quiz coach and thru tears told how much that parent meant to them. One quizzer, who we have quizzed with from Missouri, passionately told of his story of how quizzing got him thru abuse, a time of decision in even living for God and a breaking apart of his homelife! You wonder why these quizzers don't hit the button at times, but after hearing their stories, you realize it is a miracle for them to even be at the quiz board! Their purpose in quizzing is far more powerful than just winning a game... it is winning at the game of life and saving their souls!
One young ladies testimony included these words that I wrote down... "Love it, Learn it, Live it, Share it and one day you will see it face to face!" The night ended with surrounding these last year quizzers and pouring out prayers over them.
We experienced the high places visibly and spiritually yesterday... but the visible, with all its beauty and grandeur, could not come close to the presence of the Lord!
We are watching the finals today and then heading home from a tremendous time, blessed by God!
