Our simple cross to help us remember!
Levi found a buttercup and wanted to put it in the crown of thorns. My heart has been stirred to make Easter as REAL as possible to my children. While our friends, Darla, Landon and Anna were here, we made a special cross to put in our bird/flower garden. Guy made a crown of thorns. It is a very small rememberance of all Jesus did for us. We have been reading a biblical journey of Holy Week and one of the writings stated something so very stirring to me. As Jesus prayed in the garden, He asked the disciples, "Could ye not tarry with Me one hour?". How sad that they could not tarry an hour with Him when the next day He spent six hours agonizing on a cross for them. He did this act of love not just for them but for all. Lord, may I never forget what You did for me on Calvary and may I always be willing to sacrafice whatever it takes to be close to you!
