What a blessed relief to pull into our driveway at 2:30am Saturday morning!!!! We are so thankful for God's protection on our long journey!
We celebrated FREEDOM today at church...
this is such a gift we take for granted!
An elder in our church came up to Tim this morning after service and asked him what we had been doing this past Friday. He said the Lord woke him up early with a burden to pray for us... he felt it had something to do with driving. Tim had to think for a moment of what our Friday was like... the days had been such a busy blur. He then remembered a very significant happening... a car pulled right into our lane as we were driving down the interstate going around 75 mph! The car literally came over on us... Tim went over as far as he could go as he laid on his horn... it was like the people in the car could not even hear us but just kept coming! I screamed "JESUS, JESUS!!!!". I know God's hand was on the steering wheel of our car... Tim kept complete control... we were able to get back on the road!
I thank God that HE knows exactly what we need, and when we need it! I am thankful for Elders who are willing to listen to HIS still small voice and pray for those in need!
I have some more pics and stories from Mt. Airy, North Carolina, Mayberry, and a "fun"tastic time with our friends, but will catch up on that later!
We have been celebrating FREEDOM with family today and yesterday with fireworks and food!!!
Happy 4th of July, and may God's mercy and grace guide your steps each and every day as we grow in the knowledge of HIM and the price HE paid for our freedom!!!!
