Two years ago today a farmer left this earth to rest and rejoice in the presence of His maker. It wasn't seeds of vegetables and fruits that he planted, but soul seeds. Seeds that grew men and women for the harvest of God. Seeds of the Word he continually would place deep into earthen vessels. He'd water with love and remove weeds with words. Love that made you feel like his time was yours and words that shed light to see flesh growth and not God's.
Lonnie Brown was a farmer and did good. Good enough to hear the Master Gardener say, "Well Done". He is now enjoying the fruits of his labor... perfect love, precious peace and jubilant joy.
This morning we felt the best way to honor him would be to serve seed to some of his favorite creations... the birds!
