The most water I have ever seen over our roads.

Guy took this pic after we came home, and he went out exploring on the 4 wheeler...

Following my man... he was trying to find us a way home.

I had been at a wedding, and he and Guy are just arriving back in town...

The rains came down and the floods came up. It is a pretty scary feeling when you cannot get home... every way that is familiar is blocked. In our one last attempt to reach our haven, my man took us thru some back roads, and we did make it safely home. What a feeling to arrive home when you thought it might not be possible.

We take for granted ways that are familiar and get uncomfortable when the Lord puts us on a path of uncertainty. It's only by trusting His all knowing and all seeing hand to lead and guide our paths, that we will make it safely home one day!
