Quizing Again!

Our Senior Teams... we had a blast with them... they were incredible!

We had the honor of attending the Lonnie Brown Memorial Quiz in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. It was at Lonnie's funeral that the Lord spoke to me about Bible Quizzing. I came home from the funeral and asked if we could get the ball rolling. We started off with one team in 2009 and now we have 8 teams that have been involved in Bible Quizzing this year. We had four teams participating in the tournament from Beginners to Senior. Levi did not quite have all his material memorized, so he did not quiz with the more experienced beginner team. He has learned over 100 verses and for that we are so very proud. Our stats for the tournament were as follows: Our Beginner team placed 2nd, Junior team placed 2nd, Intermediate team went undefeated and placed 1st and our experienced team... well... we had a good time! Guy did quiz out on one quiz with 8 correct and his team received 10 extra points. We only lost both of our quizzes by 10-15 points, but it sure would have been nice to win. You can never lose though by putting the Word in your heart!
